RIP Euro Summer

We lived, we laughed, we loved and we ate as many croissants, cheese and butter as humanly possible. But now Euro Summer is officially over (at least for me) and i’m back to the city & my sourdough starter.

My top 5 Euro Summer Tips:

  1. Carryon Only. Bringing a full size bag is just a logistical nightmare & will ultimately weigh you down. I always travel with my carryon suitcase (similar to this one) and my Dagne Dover bag & its the perfect combo because you can fit a ton and expand both bags, but it’s still compact. Highly recommend!

  2. Packing Cubes. I never pack without these, make organization & travel soooo much easier.

  3. Book your trains in advance!!! they can & will sell out, especially if you’re traveling during peak season

  4. Disposable camera! Currently waiting on my film to be developed & so excited to get it back. Such a fun way to capture memories and create little souvenirs. It’s like the gift that keeps on giving

  5. Balancing hotels & airbnbs. During our 10 day trip we split our time evenly between the two and it was the perfect mix. Sometimes you just want a kitchen & enough space to really settle in and other days it’s nice to have the amenities and comforts that a hotel comes with. I’ll be doing a full breakdown of our trip with details in the next newsletter! Stay tuned.

My top 5 fave craves:

  1. Molly Baz Perfect Summer Wine - light, chilled & my new go to bottle this summer

  2. Currently hyperfixating on placemats… yes I know how ridiculous that sounds but I can’t stop thinking about Maude and May (a brand I recently discovered) and even these cutie Zara Home ones

  3. This Set Active Drop <3 I had to step myself from buying everything

  4. Acid League Salad Dressings! Dying to recreate this sushi shop carrot ginger dressing at home

  5. Sushi Hatsune cucumber wrapped rolls !!!!!!! the perfect summer takeout dinner

That’s it for now! Have a great weekend.

Xoxo,

Em
