Happy Friday! Today’s newsletter is short & sweet. Let’s get into it.

Quick hit foodie news:

  • Roscioli (our favorite restaurant in Rome featured in the last newsletter) opened in NYC!! They’re currently only doing a tasting menu and wine classes with super limited availability but they’re going to be fully open in August

    • Along the same line… All’Antico Vinaio (the infamous italian sandwich shop) just opened its third location in NYC

  • A West Village institution, I sodi expanded & opened in its new location - I need a res asap

  • Wishbone Kitchen started a newsletter & is writing a cookbook - double whammy

  • Friendly PSA that PopUp Bagels will be serving up cinnamon butter this weekend

  • Librae Bakery is serving saffron soft serve? yup you read that right

  • Fellin Coffee opened a few steps away from its sister restaurant Sogno Toscano & all the girlies are going (its me, I’m the girlies)

Best things I ate recently:

  • Angel Hair Francese from Anton’s - she’s summery, savory and light all at the same time

  • Grilled Chicken Pho from Saigon Shack is my dream takeout meal

  • The seasonal flavor Ice Cream Cake at Van Leuwen is perfect

    • scoops of nostalgic simplicity

  • On saturday we did a dumpling crawl in Chinatown

    • the star of the show was the szechuan style wontons from Shanghai 21
